Eric S. Mordoh, founder of Academic Pool, has lived and worked in Switzerland, Austria, Germany, France and Greece. He was born in Athens, obtained a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich and an MBA from INSEAD. As a management consultant and interim manager, he helped international companies to optimise their business processes and organisation by implementing major change programmes. He has a broad experience in a variety of industries, including Public Utilities, Aerospace & Defence, FMCG and ICT. Eric speaks German, English, French and Greek. Prof. Dr. Silke Bustamante, co-founder of Academic Pool, was born in Mannheim and lived in South Korea, Afghanistan and Argentina. She is a professor of Corporate Management and head of the Service Management Department at the Berlin School of Economics and Law. Her academic research is focused on Employer Marketing and Sustainable HR Policies. Prior to her academic career, Silke worked as a management consultant for the Boston Consulting Group in Germany advising international companies on strategic issues. Robert E. Wisbrun, co-founder of Academic Pool, was born in Düsseldorf and studied Economics and History at the Free University of Berlin. Prior to joining Academic Pool, he was a management consultant for 14 years, initially with Celerant Consulting and then as partner of a consulting firm focusing on IT and telecoms. During that time he led the implementation of strategic change programmes for international clients in Germany and western Europe. Robert and his teams focused on optimising business and IT processes and were responsible for achieving tangible results. Elena Groznaya, is a researcher, trainer and coach for Intercultural and Diversity Management. She was born in Russia where she obtained her PhD in History and International Relations. In the past eight years, she has been a researcher and lecturer for various universities and has advised international companies in Europe and Asia on diversity and intercultural issues. Her areas of expertise include national business cultures, cultural integration and culture-related aspects of M&A. Her articles on Indian, Japanese, and Russian business cultures have been published in academic and management journals. Elena lives in Frankfurt and speaks Russian, English, German and Japanese.
